GB Racing began its engineering excellence way back in 2006. Designing, machining and prototyping its way to the top of the engine protection ladder in a very short space of time. Around the time of 2008 (ish), GB Racing set sail across the North West 200 & Isle of Man TT races with the support truck that attended BSB Championship rounds. 2017 has brought more Road Racing silverware to the GB Racing brand. Now the dust has settled we have a quick look at our achievements thus far.
The feeling of making it to a milestone is one of happiness and relief, none more so than British Superbike Teams heading into a 7 week break following the first 3 opening rounds of the championship. Even more so for Bournemouth based squad, JG Speedfit Kawasaki with Leon Haslam and GB Racing Sponsored rider Luke Mossey.
‘Simplicity is the key note of all true elegance’
From the mouth of one of the most famous fashion icons in the world, Coco Chanel inspires many to challenge the best in product design, quality and more importantly BRANDING. GB Racing have been working under the radar to show our users a new look in terms packaging, information and mostly importantly our products, whilst making things simple to create a bold statement.
For us in Moto2 the engine covers are essential. We only have one bike available and limited track time each weekend. Weâre pushing to the limit all the time and sometimes itâs inevitable that we go over it. Normally the mechanics can fix any damage and get you back out in the session when you crash but not if you damage the engine cases, in which case your session is over. Itâs fair to say weâve tested the GBRacing® engine protectors a lot over the last 18 months and, despite some big crashes, weâve never damaged the engine case. I think that fact speaks for itself.
